Trail Review(s)
Rider - Eric
This is a great trail. The lower section from the main trailhead (southwest of Lyons) is good for technical rocks.  This is the trail I learned to ride rock on.  The first time I rode here, the lower section seemed impossible.  While I was walking my bike, I stopped to watch someone attempt one of the rocky technical sections.  To my surprise, this man only had one leg and he cleared while I walked.  I was amazed and humbled.  I told myself to buck up and ride.  If he can do it, you at least have to try.  It took many tries over a few years, but I finally cleared all the technical sections on this ride. Once you hit the top of the first climb, it turns into smooth wide single track for the most part.  You can avoid the technical rocks by starting this trail from the Antelope trailhead (northwest of Lyons).
