Trail Review(s)
Rider - Eric
This is a good ride.  It starts at Dumont Lake and follows the Wyoming trail all the way to Buffalo Pass.  At the pass, that trail goes into wilderness so you are forced to head down the road (unless someone else knows of another trail up there?).  When you get to the snow park (Base area for Steamboat Powder Cats in the winter), look for the Spring Creek trail on your left.  Follow that to town.  The trail to Buff Pass is good.  It widens after the four way intersection.  I have never gone to the right (east) at this four way.  I have looked for an old trail a few times, but have given up each time.  Going straight (north) leads you to Buff Pass.  Going left (west) leads you to both the Mt. Werner and Fish Creek Falls options.  The spring creek trail is also a wide single track. It is popular and close to town so watch your speed.  Many hikers and runners use it too.
Would you ride again?
No, probably not.
Any suggestions?
I would go down Mt. Werner or Fish Creek Falls. Both are better trails with less road.
