We pride ourselves in having some of the best information on mountain biking trails on the web. We are not www.mtbguru.com, www.trails.com or www.everytrail.com. We don't claim or want to have all the trails. We prefer tight single track to double tracks or roads, but we often find great trails that include stretches on double track, jeep roads, gravel roads and even some paved roads. We also prefer cross country or x-country and downhill mt bike trails to family rides through city parks. You can find trail maps with elevation profiles, trail reviews, descriptions and ratings. GPS data is used to draw the maps and pdfs. I even attach the .gpx track files of the rides we do. These gpx files have been cleaned up and simplified using Delorme and TopoFusion software so they have 500 or less points that allows them to be exported to your Garmin hand-held gps units quickly & easily. We consider ourselves advanced intermediate riders, but not all the trails we ride are above the intermediate and novice or beginner level. Take a look at the trail statistics or stats and judge for yourself. We include the mileage, maximum and minimum elevations, elevation ascending and descending and average grade along with a short review to give you a good idea of the trail. Part of the overall trip experience is where the trail is located. The regional city as well as the closest city or town can help you locate the trail, but we don't stop there. Each trail has a Google Map tied with driving directions to the trailhead we rode from. Since many of the trails we enjoy are in remote public lands like our beautiful national forest, bureau of land management (BLM) and national monuments, we use latitude and longitude to get you there. If there is camping or other special features in the area, we'll let you know. Make sure you respect both our public lands and the private lands in the area. If we missed something, please feel free to help others out and let us know at eric@ewmeyer.com.
